Hi Ryan,


The scan was a good size but sadly i struggled to get any clarity or facial characteristics so opted for an impressionist version with some colour touches included. I hope it can still be useful to you still.
Restorers : Please do not use my restorations without asking my permission first. Thanks.

Good quality size scans will mean much better restores >> hint hint :-)

It's such an interesting and character-filled photo, Ryan; such a pity it's in such poor condition. I think the object at Mary's feet is a watering can, but I'm not sure what it is in her right hand - perhaps secateurs? Anyway it was great to work on it.

Thanks very much for the positive comments on my great grandmother Mary I have a similar
Photo I will
Post soon , she looks very happy in the garden , I find the kist ( chest ) interesting , maybe a form of storage in gardens I’m not sure
