I am trying to stick to the Harry and Cynthia generation so I don't run the risk of any living relatives.

Cynthia E Kitchin is with parents?  Matthew and Mary Kitchin at The Cottage, Oakdale, Harrogate in mid-1940s electoral rolls. Their probable marriage (Kitchen/Jackson) is Knaresborough Sep qtr 1909.
