This may be "Willie" and family in the 1921 census. 4th family down.

Added: if Willie is John Henry William, there is a death in the index at this link. Use Clarke with an 'e' and put in all three of the forenames. You can leave the rest blank.

Yes

I agree that could be him :)   if so the only one that re-produced   ;D

That 1929 death would fit with his sibs saying he had already died in the obits...:)

Hi... I found an obituary for Freda Clarke in the Winnipeg Free Press, Oct 2 1980.  She died on Sept 29 1980.   She was 87.  Predeceased by her husband William and her sister Margaret.  She was survived by her son Wilfred in British Columbia, and 3 daughters, Mrs Gladys McCreedy of British Columbia, M. Pinkos of Winnipeg, and Irene Hryze of California.  14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Marriage for Gladys May Clarke, daughter of Mrs W J Clarke and the late Mr Clarke, to Able Seaman James B McCreedy, R.C.N.V.R, Aug 15, 1942.  Miss M. Clarke attended her sister.....
Winnipeg Tribune Aug 28 1942.

Irene died in 2012
http://miller-jones.com/book-of-memories/1156584/hryze-irene/obituary.php

Winnipeg Free Press, February 3 2001... has a memorial notice placed by Irene Hryze and J. and M. Pinkos ... commemorates Gladys McCreedy who passed away on Feb 24 1996 and Wilfred Clarke who passed away Feb 1 2000.

RK

Amended... I removed the full name of M. Pinkos... she may still be living :)
