Evening Alan, Thanks for that - will look into that family and try and connect the new additions into the tree, I'm sure they are all extended family.  Appreciate your research.

Evening again Alan, now that I have set out all the info you gave me  with birth years, it looks like:-
Mary born c1806(wife of Joseph) dies 1843.  Joseph remarries Hannah Nichol, who lives nearby, and Hannah's daughter then uses the surname Ridley.  Joseph dies 1849 thus Hannah Ridley is a widow in 1851 census and has taken over the tenancy (?) or work at the farm "Fairnley" that Joseph and Mary worked on in 1841.
