army medical corps
« on: Thursday 14 June 18 15:05 BST (UK) »
Hello. Not sure if I am on the right County but I am trying to find information about my uncle who apparently was in the Pioneer Corps in WW2 and was transferred to Clacton Army Medical Corps.
I am just wondering why he was transferred and what did he do there. Can anyone help please?
Many thans
Cecile

Might he have been injured
The army did use Clacton as base for convalescence.
In WW1 they used Reckitts Convalescent Home

Thank you for that thought. Of course family never spoke about anything so I don't know for sure.
