376 Tong Road, Armley

Hi all
Could anyone tell me what building was at 376 Tong Road in 1929 as this is where a relative of mine died, at the time she was living in Middleton Lancashire, I know today the Brick Inn is standing here but I would like to know what was there in 1929. (as this would seem a long way to go for a drink or two)

The Brick Hotel was there on the last available census and still there before WW2

Thank you for the answer. It now begs the question what was she doing so far from home, some of my relatives come from Leeds and the surrounding area so maybe she was visiting them and staying at the Brick Hotel when she died, the address of 376 Tong Road is given in her Probate.

Hi leka,

I've been away for a few days and just noticed your post. The Brick Inn is shown on a 1906 map which I have so obviously was a pub in 1929.
