and..... this gave me the marriage of Wilhelmine Ernestine Elwine Hesse to Friedrich Wilhelm Koster in 1920 in Rinteln... thnking this is the right one cos Friedrich's mother is Phillippine and that's one of Alwine's middle names!!

the death notice (Mädchen = girl) was a stillborn baby.
Friedrich Wilhelms occupation is given as Heilpraktiker = healing practitioner = naturopath.

Hi Dave....thanks I will have a trawl though the document, think Madchen is definitely of the same family as on Alwines marriage cert it says her father was a homeopath...very similar to a naturopath. I've already found two possible siblings in addition to Madchen, Erika Alwine born 1922 died 1928 and Minna Philippine born 1924 died 1925.

I am just waiting the death cert for Alwine to confirm what her mother's first names were to triple check its the same family. Whilst I'm waiting I'm going to work my way through the list of children to see if I can get names for them...

Thanks

Vicky

Just for the records, Madchen(Mädchen) only means girl.
They wrote Mädchen / girl  because she was stillborn and had no name
