Which St Andrews? COMPLETED
« on: Friday 15 June 18 15:53 BST (UK) »
I've managed to find a marriage on scotlands people, but I have a problem. The place is just given as St Andrews and there seem to be a few in Scotland  ???
There's a number reference 025/10 which may mean something.
Does anyone know or will SP be able to tell me?
Thanks
Jacqui

I think you will find that this is Orkney.

The information is on the NRS site here:

https://www.nrscotland.gov.uk/research/guides/old-parish-registers/list-of-old-parish-registers

And there is link from SP too:

https://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/guides/church-registers

scroll down  about half way down the page for the link.

Thank you so much for that. I was assuming that it was the one near Edinburgh as that's where I have found them, but I wanted to check.
Thanks again
