Burial site of Richard James Kearley, died 1881
« on: Friday 15 June 18 17:37 BST (UK) »
Hello,

Richard was buried on the 30th of August 1881, in Uxbridge. I have the entry from Ancestry but it merely says in the parish of Uxbridge. Can anyone see which church it was at?

Thanks,

Adam

I've just done a search and the search results tell you which parish before you look at the image.

The LMA has pubished its London Generations database.

https://www.cityoflondon.gov.uk/things-to-do/london-metropolitan-archives/family-history/Pages/london-generations.aspx

The entry gives a source citation of DRO/010/015

the reference number can be found in the London Borough of Hillingdon pages, on the index to parishes, page 3

Also looking for the church in Cowley where he was christened in 1830, as well as the church in Hanwell where John 'Kearsley' and Sarah Walding married in 1821 if anyone can help.

Edited: was St. Mary's in Hanwell.

Make a note of the reference numbers in the source citations and cross ref those numbers with the London Generations parish register index for Hillingdon (baptism) and Ealing (marriage)

see page 87 here

https://www.cityoflondon.gov.uk/things-to-do/london-metropolitan-archives/family-history/Documents/london-metropolitan-archives-ealing-london-generations-guide.pdf

The search result for the marriage shows which church it took place in.

As I only have an Ancestry image for the christening I can't find reference number. It simply says baptisms in the parish of Cowley. Can anyone help with where (which church) the christening of Richard James Kearley in 1830 took place?

How do you only have the image but not the search results?
