FindMyPat has an 1881 merchant seaman's record (transcription only) for a Saul Harvey, born 1840, Swansea, master Lass O'Gowrie, previous vessel Chevy Chase

The Cambrian, 7 Apr 1876, has an item about a William Harvey, mate on the Chevy Chase.
