Ethel Stewart died 31/12/1964 Leeds Reg district  Vol 2c Page 342.

Her husband Charles William Adams Stewart was buried in St Johns Churchyard Weatherby Road Leeds in March 1946.
They both spent time in Singapore between 1920 and 1933 at least as he was a sea captain.
I have them travelling back and forth sometimes with Charles son from his first marriage Freddie .
I am trying to locate Ethel's burial or obit or anything really about her. Can anyone help ?

died 31st December 1964 Leeds

Where did you get her exact date of death from?  If you have her death cert - what was her address at that time

These are all the areas within the Leeds RD

I got the exact date from the 1939 register where some kind NHS person has written it in in green ink.
I then looked up the gro for Mar qtr 1965 and she was there.
The address is 37 Stanmore Road.

Further info from the 1939 is E.D.KGKI  Leeds District and sub district 500-3.

More also in green ink it has next to her Christian name Ethel the letters J.E.   I do not know if these are initials or mean something else. Also before her name in green ink is the number 310  once again no idea what this means. Any idea Carole.?

I do not have a death cert I only looked the 1939 for this couple up this evening. I knew the husband's date due to an old newspaper report.

The Stanmore road address is from both 1939 and 1946. I do not know about 1964.

There is the possibility she is buried with her husband but you would need to contact St Johns to confirm that.  Given her date of death she must have been buried early January 1965

Her husbands death was also registered in the Leeds RD so there is a good chance she remained in the same locality

Charles was born 1877 per death reg and the Ethel Stewart who died 1964 was born 1897.  Was there a 20yr age difference between them?
