"BBC's Antiques Roadshow team are looking for the family of Obermaschinenmaat Peter Müller, one of the 111 survivors of the Bismark. Peter was one of the 86 men rescued by HMS Dorset and his seaman's knife came into the possession of one of the crew. A member of that man's family brought it to the show and made the appeal, which was repeated by Fiona Bruce at the end of tonight's show.
If anyone knows of an association that might be able to contact Herr Müller's family please pass this on. Antiques Roadshow can be contacted using the details on this page:
