1753 marriage at Mildenhall
« on: Monday 18 June 18 22:39 BST (UK) »
Hello,

A Thomas Boon and Ann Trundle married at Mildenhall on the 2nd of February 1753:

Can anyone look up the original marriage? My hope is that this Thomas Boon is of Snailwell and was born there in 1724.

I'd appreciate any help!

Adam

This Ann Trundle was christened in Mildenhall in 1732, daughter of Thomas Trundle.

I think this is his burial from 1734, but I'm not sure. Can anyone see any further details of his burial e.g. was it a son of him or is it Thomas.

Hello Adam

The marriage register shows only that Thomas Boon and Ann Trundle were married at Mildenhall on 25 (not 2) February 1753. Unfortunately, this was 13 months before Lord Hardwicke's Marriage Act required more information to be registered.

Burials at Mildenhall indexed by the Suffolk FHS include these:

1729 March 26 William Trundle son of Thomas
1733 Nov. 4 Mary Trundell daughter of Thomas
1734 March 8 John Trundell of Holywell Row son of Thomas
1734 May 17 Thomas Trundell senior
1734 Aug. 26 Nathaniel Trundell son of Thomas deceased
1742 July 9 Mary Trundle widow
1751 Feb. 22 Mary Trundle widow

If ages or any other significant details had been recorded, they should have been transcribed.

David
