My Grandfather william Feeney was buried in Houston i think thats in Renfrewshire. Sarah Lived in that area too. Hi Shazzz and Tootsiepie

Shazzzz I may have been in touch with you before on Genforum but if not perhaps you can help. My uncle Edward Roddy travelled from Greenock in 1926. He stated he was going to his cousin James Feeney in Detroit. Travelling with him was William James Feeney going to the same address.

When leaving Scotland from the tail of the bank Greenock they gave their address as Kilmacolm which is in Renfrewshire

I have been told that Edward Roddy was a good friend of the Feeney's but I can find no link that could make them cousins. The Feeney's lived in Quigley's Point (Cabry) and Edward lived not so far from them in Tromaty. Edward was born 1896 and William was born about the same time.

Do you think this could be part of the family group you are researching?

Patrick Ruddy
