Hi everyone
Thank you for the information posted ;). I found about an hour after I posted the message for Shazzz some information that may point me to the family I am seeking. Also Shazzz I think we have been in touch perhaps not directly but through Robin Coles.

The information I found was. William Feeney and Mary Bradley of Carrowkeel had a son John born 8/12/1870  died 27/03/1937(no idea where). John married Susan Quigley c1894 and the address given is Ballyargus, Donegal which is I belive is in Upper Moville. With little proof at the moment I think that John and Susan, MAY have been the parents of the William James I am trying to find. Do you have any information re John and Susan that could throw some light on this.

Many thanks.

Bald Eagle,
The following is not what you are looking for but it may be of interest.
On 5 May 1869 William Feeney married Mary Bradley in Iskaheen, Kilderry Roman Catholic Church, in Co. Donegal but in the Londonderry Registration District. I believe that the parish is near the village of Muff on the Inishown Peninsula.

Hi Kingswell
Thanks for that. The Catholic Church should be St Patrick's RC Church Iskaheen which is in the civil parish of Muff. Kilderry was where the marriage was entered on the civil register.

No big deal really these are just small point that may come in useful to someone  8)

Thanks again. ;)

Hi All, new to this. I have found my grandmothers Birth certificate as part of my application for an Irish Passport (Brexit).

My Great Grandmother is  Rose Feeney  born 28 Nov 1910 Her parents were John Feeny (fisherman) and Susan Feeny, formerly Quigley. They were living in Moville. Hope this helps someone -

Rose married Michael Kavanagh born 2 June 1905 (Dublin) and they emigrated to Greenock Scotland in the 1920's (ish). Michael (Mick) was a Merchant Navy  Engineer.

If anyone can provide me any information on my family I would really appreciate it.
Thanks
Jon Langan
