Welcome to Rootschat

Are you trying to obtain a copy of his birth certificate?  What was his full birthdate?

Hello and welcome to Rootschat.

Did he die in May 2003 in South Derbyshire,as that death gives 26th October 1927 as his date of birth.

Did he by any chance have an older sister Maureen, born 4 years before him ?

I can't see a birth in Ireland that fits but have found a possible marriage in Dewsbury in 1922 and kids born 1923 and John J born 1927.

Kilbeggan is close to the county border with Offaly so keep open the possibility that events were registered there rather than Westmeath.  For example, is this a possibility for parent's marriage registered in Tullamore district?
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1919/09696/5517297.pdf

The FamilySearch Civil Registration Index shows a couple of possible births for a John / John Joseph Carroll registered in Tullamore district in 1925-26.

Edited to add: Kilbeggan was a registration subdistrict of Tullamore.

His birth and baptisim are too recent to be online, the most you will find is an index entry as gaffy has posted, if you think you can see the correct birth in the FamilySearch index you can buy a copy or full cert, this site will tell you how.
https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/civil-records/help/i-want-to-get-a-copy-of-a-certificate-what-do-i-do
Looking at the thread on Ireland reaching out
His marriage is also too recent, marriage Certs are online up to 1941 but you may find it on the FamilySearch index and order a copy the same as the birth cert.
Husband and wife won't be listed together on the index you will need to match up the correct couple using the year, vol and page numbers.
A photocopy of Certs cost €4 each.

Hi,
Thank you all for replying to my post. I have found this information. I got the date of birth year totally wrong.

Your family are from The Relic Rd. KilbeggaN
John Joseph Carroll was born 27th October 1921 to Anthony Carroll and Mary Nicholson. He was Confirmed 8/5/1934
He alos had a sister named Angela born 2nd April 1923

So confirmed all i needed but how do i get a copy of the birth registration?
