But why would she make him the Executor of her will if they'd split up?
Possibly made her will while still together & never changed it is one explanation.
She did have a son also Henry John so maybe he's the executor.
Red herring Henry & Hilda are at 2 moon Lane Plymouth in 1939 so not him.
This one appears to have died in 1960.

I've just received the death certificate for John Henry Young who died 21 November 1954, confirming him as husband of Eveline Bessie. Cause of death "carcinoma of R lung", which explains why he married when he did but not why he waited 25 years, although divorce action probably accounts for some of the delay.
