« on: Thursday 21 June 18 13:22 BST (UK) »
Which one of the two guys in the second photo do you think could be the older guy's son please. I would value your opinion. These photos were found together.
Thanks for looking.

The old chap looks well into his 70's possibly 80.
Unless he had children in his 50's I don't think he's the father of either of them.

The 2 young ones look as if they could be related -- apart from the hair colour - the hair is the same style and thickness.

IF the elderly man is the father of one of them -- I would think the one on the left by the ears and the chin.

The one on the right has a squarer chin.

But I could be completely wrong of course!

Yes Jim....You are spot on...I have had a re-think since I posted and now think it's a different guy. If it is the guy is who I now think it is, he would be 80 years old so more likely to be his Grandson...the photo was taken in 1937... he didn't marry until he was 30 and had 10 children the last one born in 1908 :o

I agree that there is a likeness with the young man on the left.

Jim would you agree that this was a 1930s photo of the two men? If so it could be Hugh b. 1908 who was a POW in WW2.

Sorry but I didn't know the dates when I posted my opinion. Just thought the elderly man's photo had been well protected!
