William A King (2)
« on: Thursday 21 June 18 17:11 BST (UK) »
William A King. (not to be confused with his father of the same name in previous posting)
Born: 15/12/1833 in Whitehaven. Died: circa 1896.
In 1879 he married Cora Mary Waller (nee Smith), who was born in London, in Liverpool.
Now it seems she married a Christopher Waller in Kendal  circa 1859 but alas he died in 1877 but it also seem she had an illegitimate son (William John Smith)who lived with her and Christopher.
William and her lived in Ambleside (1871 census), Keswick (1881 census) and Keswick but different address (1891 census).
I can find no record of any children to this couple during their marriage.

I just thought trying here to see if anyone can help before I close this chapter of my ancestors.

The marriage of Cora Mary Ann Lane also gives her as Cora Mary Ann Smith - 10 september 1859 Windermere.
There is a marriage of a Cornelia Lane - Kensington - September 1848 - 3 - 335 to Allen Smith - could this be a previous marriage  ???

There is a birth for a William John Roper Smith - mothers maiden name Lane.
