The above was the daughter of William Wellington Craven and Alice Victoria Curley and at 1940 US census she was single living with her widowed mother in Detroit, Wayne.
According to various trees on Anc she passed away 28 Mar 1974 and lived at 48236 Grosse Pte Shores, Wayne as Ledyard? The problem is that none of the trees say who her Ledyard husband was and when they married (other than 1940) or have sources for these 'facts.'
There was an Augustus Canfield Ledyard who passed away in the same area and is buried at Elmwood Cemetery as was she but have separate gravestones. I wonder if these 2 are linked by marriage and if there were any children?

Augustus Ledyard Married IMPORTANT news socially is the simple announcement that came from Mrs. William Wellington Craven, of Crane Ave., yesterday, telling of the marriage of her daughter Alice V. Craven, to Augustus Canfield Ledyard, of Cloverly Road, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ledyard, and a scion of one of Detroit's oldest families.
The marriage took place in St. Louis on Sept. 7, and Mr. and Mrs. Ledyard will live on Cloverly.
