Burial lookups
« on: Friday 22 June 18 13:27 BST (UK) »
Hello,

FamilySearch has proved particularly helpful in locating burials. However, there are a few wholes in my research.

I'm looking for:

Sarah Church, of Hilmarton. I think the 1852 or 1860 death registration may be her in the Calne district. Having children in the early 1800s. Living there in 1851.

William and Mary Church, who were having children in Hilmarton in the 1750s.

John King and his wife Susannah of Longbridge Deverill, christening children in the early 1800s.

Burial for Thomas King, who was christening children in Longbridge Deverill in the 1770s.

Sarah Moore, wife of James, who died before 1871. Was living in Highway in 1861.

Sarah Provis, who died in 1844. Was living in Bremhill in 1841.

Catherine Provis, who died in 1857. Was living in Bremhill in 1851.

Burials for William and Betty Provis, who were christening children in Bremhill in 1764. Also William's parents John and Mary Provis.

William and Ann Stevens, died after 1851. Were living in Broad Chalke in 1851.

James and Mary Stevens. Were christening children in Broad Chalke in the 1790s.

William and Elizabeth Goldstone, christening children in the early 1700s in Hilmarton.

William and Mary Church, christening children in Hilmarton as late as the 1750s.

Thomas and Betty Andrews, christening children in Bremhill in the 1740s.

John and Rebecca Andrews, christening children in Compton Bassett in the 1770s.

I'd appreciate any help! Sorry for the list - I've ticked off all I could find and these are all the ones left over.

Adam

Hi Adam

Possibly this, [Wilts FHS]  William CHURCH and Mary GOULDSTONE, m. Hilmarton 26 Sep 1734.

Assuming the above is correct..
There is a possible bap. for a Mary GOLDSTONE d/o William & Elizabeth, shoomaker of Goatacre, bap. Hilmarton 16 Jan 1703/4.

Possible bap. for a William..
William CHURCH s/o John & Abigail, yeo of Goatacre, bap. Hilmarton 10 Jul 1701

Added:
No obvious burial for William, this is a possible for Mary..
Mary CHURCH of Goatacre, bur. Hilmarton 24 Feb 1786

There's a Rebecca Andrews, wife of John, buried 17 January 1792, Compton Bassett.
Don't forget that ancestry is free this weekend!

Apologies, I hate oversize attachments. I thought 70% would fit in, apparently not.
