Cause of Death
« on: Friday 22 June 18 16:58 BST (UK) »
I have attached a clip from a death register and although the first part - softening of the brain - is pretty clear, I cannot decipher the following word and had no luck trying the usual searches.
As usual I'd be grateful for any suggestions.

This is a handy site for archaic medical terms.

As always, thanks a lot!
It never fails to surprise me that there are people out there who can decipher the writing on these old documents.
Thanks also for the link - useful for some of the other documents no doubt...
