Birth of Thelma Joan Goddard, died 1968

Hello,

I'm interested in the 1939 Register. Thelma was Thelma Joan Goddard then, before she married George Douglas Peck and died in Romford in 1968. The family were living in Hornchurch in 1939. She was born in 1933. Will she be visible as she died?

If she was only born in 1933 she shouldn't be visible --- only people born before 1916 are on view. The others are 'hidden'.

If Find My Past have been given proof of her death they may just have revealed her but it's not a priority for them I don't think.

If you have her parents' names - they should be on the register -- with their children 'blacked out'.

Anyone who died before 1991 should be visible.

Many who died after that date are visible too, FindMyPast are gradually being given more up to date info.

Don't forget that as a 6 year old child,it is very likely that she was evacuated to the countryside,either with mum or with her school pals.

Can anyone see her? My record from 1939 for her parents shows them and two black lines. Parents are Walter Richard and Eva May Goddard.

How many children did Walter & Eva have, did any die before 1939.

They had 3. Philip Robert Goddard died in Shalford, Essex in 1929.

Then if there are 2 black lines there is a good chance that she is one of them.

Oh well. I'll just have to buy the certificate I suppose.
