Georgina & Lynn for Improvement Please
« on: Saturday 23 June 18 19:02 BST (UK) »
Hi, I have recently been given access to these two photographs and would be grateful if anyone can remove the blemishes. If anyone can date Georgina that would be helpful too. As I am off on holiday, I thank you in advance but I will respond when I get home in a week as I am abandoning technology for this time. Thanking you

Just had a try at the first one.
Sorry, can't help with a date for it.

I'm not very good at dating, but could be about the 1930s. I remember my mother had a fur like that with the head on it in the 1940s but I think this could be a little earlier, I thought it was wonderful then, as a child, how ideas have changed.
Here are two restores from me

Hi, I'd like to thank you all for your wonderful efforts, it's very much appreciated. I didn't imagine it could be done so well. I've tried myself in the past and always given up in frustration.

Georgina was my grandmother and died age 36 and Lynn (with a neighbours' baby) died aged 23 leaving a five month old daughter.
