 :) yes, lads grow tall quickly, but not shrink in a month ...
 :D

but how to sort if there is connection to Edward Anthony LOGAN ...  I think the 1909 marriage cert should be obtained ...  and aside from that, how to sort the file at NAA ...

Well, I'm engaging in a bit of guesswork here.

Born 1838, Edward Anthony LOGAN (of full age) married Hannah HILL ( of full age)in 1859 n England.
He was an engineer on the record.

It is unlikely that a woman marrying in 1859 will be producing children in 1889, so Mary Eveline was not her child.

Are you thinking there was another relationship in New Zealand for Edward Anthony LOGAN?

The information on the 1909 marriage for Mary Eveline to Geo STEWART should be very useful.

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,373754.0.html

Marriages
 Date and place of marriage;
 name and surnames;
 conjugal condition, whether bachelor or spinster, widow or widower,
 stating date of decease of former wife or husband;
 children by each former marriage;
birthplace;
 occupation;
age;
 residence (present and usual);
parent's names of each party (including mother's maiden name) and occupation of    father;
 signatures of the parties and witnesses;
 signature of Minister. Prior to 1963 the date of termination of previous marriages of  the parties is also shown.

The image is actually readily available to download as a pdf via plastic card payment...

Can you please type up the info from her 1909 marriage document as it has first hand info she provided.

Also which document gives you her NZ birth?

JM

Her marriage is 1909, registered in Victoria, to Geo STEWART, #3572

And the one who I have "guessed at" died in 1904 as stated by OP, and Hannah, his widow was left administration of his estate according to the Probate Calendar , UK.
