In the tree on Ancestry you have Frank born 1887 at Forton.

Could this have been Yorton?

Added,
No, he was living at Forton, Longparish, Hampshire on army record, so do you know where he was born?

That army record also has him as 31 years and 15 days old on 10th December, 1915. So possibly born 25th November 1884. Also looks like born at Yorton.

Whilst looking for possible families, came across this, might be totally unrelated as Jones is a very common surname, but putting here for consideration, living at Duck Hall (also other residences there)
1881 census:
Living in Condover Shropshire
William Jones   56  Stapleton, Shropshire, England   ag lab  married
William Jones   14  son  Pitchford, Shropshire
Edward Jones   11  son  Berrington, Shropshire
Thomas Jones   8   son     Berrington, Shropshire

Living at Broughton lane, bank, Shropshire, in 1891
Sarah Jones   56  washerwoman, widow,  from Weston
Frank Jones   4  grandson from Yorton

If Frank was born in November 1887 he would only be 3 in 1891 census, but put here just in case age wrong.

The army records claim Frank born 25th November 1884.
Free search of 1939 register gives 25th November 1887.

Yorton is near Clive, so comes under Wem registration district.

There is a Frank Jones born in Wem in December quarter 1886, GRO shows that birth with no mmn.  Birth in November 1886 would fit with that census of a Frank Jones living with his grandmother in 1891 age 4.

Invented father for marriage certificate?

Living in Broughton Shropshire in 1881, this might be Sarah

Wm. Jones   56 Allbrighton Shropshire  farm labourer
Sarah Jones   46 Preston, Shropshire
Charls Jones   9  Grinshill, Shropshire,  son
Susannah Jones   3  Yorton Shropshire   dau

(which would mean the census post for Duck Hall in 1881 is irrelevant)

Charles and Susanna might have mmn Clay.
