Lancashire Fusilier
« on: Sunday 24 June 18 19:18 BST (UK) »
Hi
Whilst visiting Caerphilly Flower Festival I saw an interesting plaque in one of their chapels for John G Morgan, Lancashire Fusilier who died Nov 17 1917.  CWGC have listed one soldier (Pte) of that name who died on that day, son of William and Sarah Morgan, of Dinas Powis.  Can someone please check SDGW for details.

Kind Regards, Roy

Only additional info in SDGW is that he was previously ASC with number 290192, born Caerphilly, lived Caerphilly.  Probate has 9 Market Street Caerphilly.  His effects and gratuity went to father William.  Medals BW and Victory.

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.

With deep sadness,
