Occupation - vinters?

Found some possible relations in an old village directory. One is listed under Vinters in the list of local services. I've never come across this before could anyone tell me what a Vinter was?

Are you sure it is Vinter?
If it was Vintner -- that is wine maker or a dealer in wines.

(Ray just beat me to it from his wine cellar!!)

Thanks for the replies. It is indeed transcribed as Vinters, perhaps a spelling error.

Been in the cellar all day.HOT in Devon today, however NOT in cellar.
