William Jeale

I wonder if anyone can help me, I have hit a brick wall, I am trying to trace the parents of John Jeale b1678 d1735 from Worth in West Sussex. I beleive  he was married to Elisabeth Butcher. Johns father was a William Jeale?? I cannot seem to find him as being born in Worth so maybe he was born elsewhere, there are Jeale`s in Surrey and Kent. Just dont know where to go on this one with the resources available to me. Could someone maybe do some lookups for me. Thanking you in anticipation.

A John was Buried 12 Mar 1735/36 age 76 but that would make him born earlier than 1677?

So the Burial looks right for John to me born c 1659/60

So unlikely he was Bapt 1677, Father William, as would be only 7 when married!

Thank you Trish it does seem likely that is correct. I got the Fathers name from Ancestry, I dont know just how accurate they are with their data.
