Thank you for finding all this out. I never subscribed to newspapers on Findmypast as I was never aware of this (Can you tell I'm a rookie?!). I was really surprised to find that my 3x Great Grandmother was assaulted by a group of men who wanted to beat John. I wonder what happened there? Religious issues?
