Issue with Scotland's people
« on: Tuesday 26 June 18 15:42 BST (UK) »
Is anyone else having an issue with Scotland's people today?

I log in Ok, type in my search and when I click search it logs me out, says log in to see reults, I log back in and when I try and narrow my search or change to page 2 it logs me back out again, very annoying.

Addition: and now it has my name at the top as if I'm logged in but the blue buttons (to .) say "log in to ."

pharma,

I've been on SP today with no problem, still logged in at this moment.

Seems fine for me too. Not sure what it could be. Maybe an intermittent connection.  What browser are you using to access the site?

It sounds to me as though there is some confusion over cookies. If you have a tool or browser add-on for selectively deleting Scotland's people cookies that might help.

I had similar repeated problems in the last few weeks. SP customer service were very polite but did not offer very useful or helpful advice. Someone I know suggested that I try another browser and so I moved over from Microsoft Edge to Chrome and have had no problems since. Later discovered it might have something to do with "cookies" (?) but I've just stuck with Chrome.

Interesting  :-\
I've also been having this issue and it's been driving me nuts. I use Microsoft Edge (always have) and haven't had a problem till just recently. I'll start using Chrome and see if that makes a difference. Thanks for the info.

Looby :)

Seems like it's definitely an Edge problem.  I've never used it - stick with Firefox and Chrome on PCs and Firefox and Safari on Macs.
