That looks promising Rosie, thank you.  That puts any divorce / remarriage from around 1939  as they both appear to be 'married'  pre WW2 though not together

According to the National Archives very few divorce records survive for that period

This looks like her death Florence Edith Winters birth date 17 March 1904 same on 1939 register
Died Mar 1988 Lewisham Greater London ....2 trees on Ancestry have this date one  belonging to Kim I think  :)

Rosie guided me in helping me order my Greatgrandfather's death certificate.  I am hoping it will arrive today or early next week.   Once I have it, I will resubscribe to Ancestry so I can continue with the tree I have there.  I really hope to track down more info on their divorce and his remarriage (assuming one even took place).

The death certificate arrived in the mail this morning.  Now I have another question. 

The cause of death is indicated as:  1(a) Broncho Pneumonia.  What might the 1(a) notation mean?
