Just to confuse things even more there are 2 Alice Moss entries in Loughborough 1891 - one aged 9 with sister Florence and one aged 10 with grandparents so the marriage could be for either of them.

Death for Alice Lovett in Loughborough 1951 age 69 which fits with birth of 1882 so she hasn't gone anywhere.

Think I've open a can of worms here lol I haven't searched as yet for Alice and Arthur travelling abroad  but I cannot find a marriage cert for them  here quite puzzling really especially if Alice & Florence are sisters let's hope we can find that out x x

There is a Canadian marriage 1924 of a daughter born England naming parents Alice Moss and Arthur William
Read both from England.

This leads back to a possible marriage in 1899 Aston where those names are possible spouses.
Other names Harry Luke/Lake and Daisy Wilcox.

In 1891 the other one is staying with grandparents Henry & Mary Ann and possible mother Annie.

What evidence does the Canadian person have that her Alice has  parents Francis & Charlotte

Just adding from a family tree on Ancestry (yeah, I know  )  which has identified this 1912 passenger list for Alice and children going to Canada 'to husband'.

All of these children were REID/READ/mmn MOSS births most registered in Loughborough.

I can't find them in 1911 to see what Alice says about herself.

So if you ask your contact if this is their family then the marriage cert will give their Alice's father's name.

Here they are, Alice born Loughborough.  But she can't be the daughter of Francis and Charlotte because she was married by 1901.
