GRANT and SHAW's of Tomintoul prior to 1795

Hi

I am looking for any information on the families of Grants - Findron farm - Tomintoul prior to 1795 and the Shaw family - Delnalyon farm - Tomintoul prior 1795 in a quest to find out who were the parents to Ephy - Euphemia or Effy Grant as she was known by and the parents to William Shaw who both wed in 1795 - Tomintoul - their 1st son was called Donald - 2nd son William or Alexander - 3rd son Alexander or William as I have no birth cert for William and his birthdates vary between 1797 and 1805 with Alexander Shaw been born 1802 - kind regards and many thanks in advance - Indiana x

Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
