Does she survive through to censuses?
What's her birth year and place(s) on those?

Looks like she may have died before 1841 if I have the correct Richard.

In 1841 he appears to have a wife Margaret (in Barthomley) --- UNLESS that is an error, or the marriage record is an error.

By 1851 he appears to be a widower.

If there is a burial or death record for Mary (the latter on GRO) that may give her age.

Richard seems to have been born about 1796 according to the 1851 census (if it's the right Richard of course!)

There is a Mary Fox who dies in Barthomley aged 29 in 1827 -- but unfortunately there is no confirmation that she was the wife of Richard.

If this is the correct Mary though -- she would be born c 1798.

Richard and Mary may have had 3 children;

Elizabeth 1820
William 1823
John 1827

all in Barthomley

THEN a Richard Fox and Margaret have a John in 1829.

May be a complete red herring -- need to see if a Richard married a Margaret between 1827 and 1829.

If it's the right Richard and Mary and they named their first born daughter Elizabeth -- Mary's mother may have been Elizabeth.

On the other hand these may not be the correct families at all!
