Thanks, xiaolu.  That is a MUCH more coherent translation than I got from Google and it makes sense.  Robert  Yates was from Texas, he did live for many years in Turkey and he did eventually die there in 2015.  So now I know that his mother was Clara and she died in Turkey, as well.
