He is not buried in York or Fulford Cemeteries and the Crem was not open then  :(

Perhaps he was taken 'home' and buried there. :-\

Thank you Jim  :)  I think I need to be reading the Long trail pages to give me some more background  ;D

I have contacted the Borthwick as suggested by one of the cemetery's I will see what they advise.  To know where 'home' is for his burial I think I am going to have to get those service records.  ;D

Yes I have tried deceased online, I do have full access to their records.  Nothing doing though.  :(

Fulford have now found him in the Military cemetery  ;D  No headstone though or further information that would lead to his identity.  I have now ordered his army records  :)

The Army record has arrived and it is who I am after.  ;D   

They would not issue NoK records for him even though he died in 1930.  :(
