Alexander Byron Collins died Mississauga 1981
« on: Friday 29 June 18 01:44 BST (UK) »
I know this is a big ask, but does this name mean anything to you?

Alexander moved to Canada after the death of his wife in Scotland 1962, his son Alexander moved there in 1945 and had a daughter Joan.

Alexander's wife Elizabeth 1898-1962 would have been my great aunt.

Hello,

Are you looking for an obituary?  There is one in the Toronto Star, 27 feb 1981, page A18.

It says he died in Mississauga on Feb 24 1981.  Looks like he was known as "Sandy".  Husband of the late Elizabeth McGimley.   Father of A. of Mississauga and G. of Scotland.  Grandfather of J., G., G., and K.

I have used initials, in case the people mentioned are still living.
