John Snaith - Prominent brewer and publican in North West Durham
« on: Friday 29 June 18 17:52 BST (UK) »
John Snaith was a prominent man in the local licensing trade in North West Durham but very little is known about him.  This is the only photograph I have been able to find and it comes from his own family.  Could anyone please work a miracle for me and make it clear.  The photo was taken before his death at age 47 in October of 1900 or 1901.  Many thanks

Thanks to all of you.  Once again you have performed miracles.  I can illustrate my local history story on the businesses he ran and his family will have a much improved photo to keep forever.  Thanks again.

John Snaith probably died 1900 and buried All Saints Lanchester, County Durham, wife Jessie.
