Hi Mark

With what you have mentioned, and the birth address for Winnifred in 1858, wandering if this could be a reference to father's burial on 14 March 1865 at the Ford Cemetery, Lancashire:

There is also another burial for a Martin Walsh on 24 March 1874 with a reference to Addison Street:

I think we have him as dying in 1874. This is great, thank you. You get so attached to them sometimes. I never knew her obviously but Winefred was my wifes G-Grandmother and she always wondered why her daughter Mary never spoke about her childhood. Its almost like you owe them at least a few hours searching and piecing their lives together. Still nothing as yet on Winefred, I was debating whether to go to Liverpool Library, I believe they have workhouse and childrens homes records.
I love your thumbnail picture by the way.

I would have thought that the younger one was him, perhaps. :-\

Winifred Walsh’s Godparents were John Cunniffe and Winifred Naevin.

There is a family Anthony and Winifred Hines
1861
1871 3768/162/24
Shows a child Winifred amongst others (not yours though she is a Hines)

Her baptism at St Josephus in 1862 has mother Winifred Navin and  Godmother Ann Walsh

Might not be anything but worth noting.

What is the address on Winfred's birth record?
