Locating parents of Sarah Jane Moore

Sarah Jane Moore and her mother Sarah Ann (nee Ford per the 1891 census) were in the 1891 and 1901 census records living with another family. Sarah Ann was listed as a widow.

I'm trying to locate the father's name and pre-1891 census records for Sarah Jane's parents.

I found this record and can't be sure it's the right one as I'm not sure of the father's name. Since I can't locate earlier census records, can't be sure it is "James".

I see that the baptism you posted was Roman Catholic with James listed as Jacobi https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:JQ27-86P

So this may be the couples marriage at St Joseph RC Stockport

Using these to dig further, I see a Sarah Ann Ford listed as daughter with mother Catherine in the 1871 and 1861 census...no father on either unfortunately so can't make out who he would have been.

Sarah Ann must have had a difficult time of it then, assuming I have the correct people, as Sarah Ann's mother Catherine would have died in 1877, she married in 1882, has Sarah Jane in 1882 and James dies in 1883.

Now to find her father.

I wonder if this is Catherine in1851 with Sarah Ann listed as Mary Ann living at Wellington Street, Stockport??

Although Catherine is listed as a widow I think Sarah's birth on the GRO lists her with no mother's maiden name  SARAH  ANN DEAN FORD -  GRO Ref  Sept Qrtr 1849  STOCKPORT  Vol 19  Page 275

I wonder that too because I can't find any other matches for her in all of Cheshire for that census year. On her marital condition, if it is her listed in 1861 and 1871 with daughter Sarah Ann, she is listed as unmarried on both censuses, widow would be a mistake. Plus she's living with brother Finton Ford so Ford is her maiden name and she has no married name. Looks like William didn't stick around to marry her.
