Occupation?

Hi,
Can anyone decipher what I think must be an occupation please.
It is on the record of a boy leaving Shadwell School for Boys, West Yorkshire, in 1912.

I think its the address of a place to which he was sent.
I think the second word is Nantgaredig which is in Carmarthenshire.
Looking at other pages in the record, they all start with a destination address, several in Wales.

I think the first word is Penllwynan. Before that is the name of the person to whom he was sent, a Mr Harris.

Thank you, that does look right. Strange that he was sent to Wales. It looks like he was still there in 1916 but I next find him back in Yorkshire in 1939, married with a child so he eventually got back to his roots!

If you look at other pages in the record you'll see that a lot of the children were sent to Wales.

Edit: a quick search of the 1911 census shows a fair number of Yorkshire teenagers living and working  on Carmarthenshire farms.

I looked up Mr Harris on the 1911 Wales census and, indeed, found the farm where John must have been sent in Nantgaredig. Thanks for your help. Heather.
