This couple seem to disappear without trace after 1871 census has them living in Chancery lane with the first 3 of their 6 children although only 4 survive, I think, beyond 1870s. There doesn't appear to be any 1881 census record for any of the family apart from maybe George Edmed Bamfield. Am I missing something obvious? Mildred Kezia is a distinctive name...

Fredk Bamfield 13 b London City is “wife’s brother” in George M Martin’s household in Bermondsey in 1891.

George’s wife is Jess(i)e M Martin 22 b London City.  Not seeing their marriage at present. George is significantly older at 34 in 1891, born Great Marlow, Bucks.

Jessie doesn’t actually marry until Jun qtr 1923 Southwark, to Mark G Martin (presumably the same person as George M Martin, her “husband” in that 1891 census).

That's fantastic! I thought there must be some records somewhere but try as I might I could not find that (elusive to me) 1881 census. Many thanks to all who contributed to helping me fill in a few more gaps. Apologies if I didn't provide all the details that I had already uncovered but tried to keep the post succinct. Henry & Mildred Kezia's death records also very useful and another daughter! In 1939 Register there are details of one of her 3 grandson's, Frederick Charles Martin's, family. All grist to the mill.
