June Fullerton died 6 March, 1956. in Toronto.
« on: Wednesday 04 July 18 15:46 BST (UK) »
I know this was a long time ago, but I would like to hear from anyone, (or their descendants) who attended June's funeral.   Some of the attendees were :- Fred Peterson, Lydia Wright, Doraine & Dale Nagy, Frank Tredgett, Dave Tizel, Laurie Wilgan, Betty Jamieson, Mr. & Mrs. W. Cosman.   I appolgise for any bad spelling as I am taking these from handwritten notes.

There is a Frank Tredgett, retired, noted in the 1957 Canadian Voters' List living on Balliol Street in uptown Toronto.  He is likely deceased by now.

A few Fred Tredgett to pick from:-

If Fred was Frederick Cornelius Tredgett born 1898 he passed 1982

Frederick Norman Tredgett - 3 January 1930 - passed 23 April 2002

Frederick Tredgett - 30 March 1899 passed 20 February 1957

My sincere thanks to Sandra and Eileen. First I should introduce myself better.  I am June's half brother and to complicate things a little I should explain that while June was born in Canada she was brought back to Scotland by her parents when she was a baby. We have a common mother. June married John Singleton Carway in Scotland in 1942 and came back to Canada as he was a Canadian soldier.  When June died she had separated from her husband and was living alone. The rest of her family were back in Scotland.  Now that I am here in Canada, I am trying to find out all I can although I feel that time will have made this impossible. Sandra, I have not tried Canada 411 as I am almost certain that all of those at Junes funeral will have passed away. June was 31 when she died and so would be 93 years old today.  While I might find relatives, I would have no way of telling if there was a connection and it might well mean a lot of wasted phone calls. I will try and visit Franks grave to see if it gives a clue to living relatives.  Having said that, you two have given me some things to work with and I will do that.  I was hoping (and still do hope) that a relative of those mentioned would see this, in which case a lot might fall into place.   As an aside do either of you know how I can find out what happened to the two homes that were located at 42 Pinewood Ave in Toronto.  That was where June was living when she died, and that section is now a park. If either of you are on Ancestry, look for "The Allan Family Tree Mar. 2012AB" author is allanr48. You will learn a lot about June if you are interested.

I did come across a photograph of her on ancestry but never come across your tree.

Her son was adopted by a doctor when she died.  :'(
