We know James arrived in Canada in 1885-86 and married Minnie Parker 5 Nov 1889 in London, Ontario. Minnie was daughter of Charles W Parker and Rose Gunyr. We believe Minnie was born July 1874 based on census documents.
After husband James passed in 1907 she seems to have been living with her sister Julia Parker (married name Green) who was also a widow in 1911 census. Minnie was informant when Julia passed 15 MAY 1925 at 521 Richmond Street, London, Middlesex, Ontario, Canada and Minnie was at same address.
We do not find Julia or Minnie in the 1921 Census but assume they were in London, Ontario at the time.
Minnie and James had one child. Edna F Pope born AUGUST 12, 1892 likely in London, Ontario. No birth record, only census of 1901 and 1911 to show birth date.
Neither Minnie or Edna appear in a 1921 Census or on a voters list.
A search of the two main cemeteries in London, Ontario don't reveal any additional clues.
We know that several of James Pope's siblings emigrated to British Columbia so there was a fair number of Pope relatives in British Columbia in the 1920s when Minnie and Edna may have been on their own. One of James' brothers, Harry was in London in 1925 but nothing to indicate Minnie and Edna lived with him in any record. Harry's did live only about a block from the Richmond Street address
