Catherine Cox, High Melton.
« on: Thursday 05 July 18 19:20 BST (UK) »
I’m looking for parents and family of Catherine Cox born 1767. Cadeby/High Melton.
Catherine married John Hague born 1763. They had a son John born 1792.
In High Melton Churchyard  there are two headstones, one to Mary Cox who died 1792, aged 85 years. Also Francis Cox died aged 51years inscribed on the same headstone.
The other headstone is of James Cox of Cadeby, died 1816 aged 23years.
I’ve also been searching for the parents of John Hague without any success.
Any help with the above will be appreciated.

Hi
Have you seen the two Wills Francis Cox 1787 and John 1769 at Perg and Exch Court of York?
They have to be ordered from the Borthwick institue.
John Hague was a widower

Hi

Did you have any success identifying the parents of John Hague and Catherine Cox? I have Joseph Hague and Elizabeth as possible John parents. John Hague was born in 1743 in Hooton Roberts.
