1811 (as per title) or 1911 (as per text) ?

easy done, but need to know which is correct and which is the typo!
Edmonds/Edmunds - mainly Sussex

Yes please. Anything to help would be most appreciated.

The person I am trying to 'sort out' was a pensioner HM Royal Marines.

I think I've found him in Greenwich in 1851 and he ended up in NZ before 1858 and appears to have had a wife Mary Ann, maiden name unknown. I can't find her in the 1851 census. This couple do not appear to have had any children of their own.

He died under the name William Manuel Lassam and if I'm correct in 1851 he was recorded as William Lassam. There are military records in this name but I haven't explored that yet

That's all I have
