Were death certs issued for WW1 soldiers??

Under one cimcumstance. If the soldier/sailor/airman died of any cause in England, Scotland or Ireland then the death would be treated like any civilian death.

Death certificates are available wherever the death occurred as explained quite clearly by nanny jan and stapmanstone above.
