Stephanie I have the CD which has a little more information that the index at SAGenealogy.  I find it strange the Society didn't put all the info on their index that is contained on the CD they produced.  Probably a money making exercise.

Just ask here or send me a pm and I will help if I can.

I also live in country Victoria with no library of family history group within cooee.  All my research is done from the farm office however I do have a lot of my own resources. Been doing it for too many years now :-X

Cheers

All the information on the 'Digger' CDs is available on the Genealogy SA website (and more recent given the CDs likely haven't been updated for any transliteration errors in over 15 years). You just have to login, through being a member to access the extra information. Yes, it is a way of making money for a not-for-profit organisation to run its service, including hosting the database.

The query is being dealt with via email thank you.   INDEXES are also on Ancestry but more information is available on Find My Past.

Thank you everyone for your help.. have since been informed she died 1983.
http://www.slsa.sa.gov.au/fh/savill/ The Saville Index to Funeral notices in Adelaide Advertiser is another useful resource. (but not in my case)
