Evans - Amlwch and Trefdraeth, Anglesey

Hi everyone! 

Trying to learn more about my 5X Great Grandfather, Emanuel Evans.  He was born around 1763, possibly in Llanrhaeadr, Denbighshire.  Married Elizabeth Jones of Llansannan (Denbighshire) in 1785 in her parish, I do have their marriage record.

Emanuel next shows up in 1801 in Amlwch, Anglesey.  He is listed as a miner in Baptism Records for his children.  Several were baptized in Amlwch (not sure what chapel - which could be very important):

William bap. 24 Mar 1803 Rhosmeirch (Ebenezer Chapel?)
Joseph bap. 7 Oct 1806 Trefdraeth (Bethel Chapel) Father listed as a Minister of the Gospel.

So I started to look into Emanuel being a minister, and sure enough he was.  He was a Calvinistic Methodist Minister, found original documents at the Anglesey Archives, written by him in 1801 in Amlwch - not sure what chapel.  Have heard that he had a disagreement with someone in the chapel and headed south.  Bethel chapel was built around 1805, not sure if he was a minister there at all, but it was very nearby and corresponds with the Baptism locations of his children.  We know that he was then a minister at the family home of Tyn Llwyn in Trefdraeth, and held a Sunday School there for many years.  He died at the home in 1836, and the home passed to his son Thomas (my GGGG Grandfather).  About 10 family members died at the home between 1836 and 1843, and all are buried at St. Bueno's parish church in Trefdraeth. 

I have seen a record of Emanuel giving to the British and Foreign Bible Society, and also his name on an Electoral Roll.  Can't find the reference, but someone sent me a paragraph from a book talking about Emanuel being a fluent speaker, and that he was a well-liked minister.

My questions are:
What Amlwch chapel were the older kids baptised at?
What Amlwch chapel did Emanuel minister at?
What is Emanuel's birthdate?  Was he born in Llanrhaeadr-yng-Nghinmeirch?
Who were Emanuel's parents?

The curate in 1787 (Robert's baptism) was David Ellis. By 1794 the curate was Pierce Owen Mealy.

Does that database cover Nonconformist chapels as well or is there another database for those?  The last couple of children were definitely baptized in Calvinistic Methodist chapels, and Emanuel himself worked in some.

It's a Church of England database, so it doesn't include non-conformist ministers. I've used it a lot .

As already advised, this is the Church of England data base - a very useful resource but not if you're chasing nonconformist "rellies".

There would be local circuits  which might have listings of past ministers.  I don't know what the circuits would be on Anglesey but it would be possible for you to find out.

I found quite a lot of info on my great grandfather who was a lay Methodist preacher in Denbighshire/Shropshire.

Have you checked for any info re.Emmanuel on Welsh Wills (Llyfrgell Genedlaethol).

There's reference to an 1840 bond - it mentions his death date of 27 Aug 1836 (burial record for 31st Aug on FindMyPast)
